Visit Landmark Theaters
No visit to Hollywood is complete without a visit to Grauman's Chinese Theatre, located adjacent to Hollywood & Highland. Here you can see which legendary handprints fit your own as stars have made an impression in the concrete of the forecourt. The theater is still a favorite venue for Hollywood premieres. Farther down the boulevard is the Spanish-style El Capitan Theatre, host of the "Citizen Kane" premiere in 1941. Other nearby theaters include the Egyptian Theatre, built in 1922, and the Art Deco Pantages Theater.
